PROMISE: Ethereal Evening
“Ethereal Evening” is a 20×30″ original painting, created with oil paints on canvas by Stephanie T. Gaffney. This beautiful wall art was inspired by the beautiful landscapes of the New Orleans area bayous. It is coated with a protective varnish to ensure that the pigment will last a lifetime, and is finished with a custom-built, thin maple floater frame. The detail images of the frame show a different painting, but the frame for this piece is the same style. The frames are currently in production.
“I had so much fun with this painting. All of these pieces were created using a minimal, primary palette: Titanium white, Ultramarine blue, Cadmium red and Cadmium yellow medium, with just a little Ivory black. I pre-mixed the palette for each painting before I began, and this one in particular was obviously very chromatic. I remember using shades of pink, purple and teal that I didn’t notice at first glance. The result is so beautiful to me.. I simply want to be here in this place.“ – Stephanie
